It is generally used for finding sub-surface defects and corrosion mapping (Thickness measurement). Its typical application is a task of material integrity approval, e.g. manufactured semi-products (sheet, forging or casting) or welds.

  • Magnetic Particle Testing

Magnetic Particle Non-Destructive Testing is the act of identifying imperfections in a material by examining disruptions in the flow of the magnetic field within the material.

To use Magnetic Particle Inspection, inspectors first induce a magnetic field in a material that is highly susceptible to magnetization. After inducing the magnetic field, the surface of the material is then covered with iron particles, which reveal disruptions in the flow of the magnetic field. These disruptions create visual indicators for the locations of imperfections within the material.

  • Liquid Penetrant Testing

This method is used to find surface defects and is not limited to ferrous materials. Do not require any power source and highly portable and efficient method. It is generally used where MPT cannot be applied i.e., where material is non-ferrous.

  • ​Visual Testing

It is relatively easy and low in demands. The equipment is used for inspection of just direct and close in accessible areas, such as tanks, tubes and vessels. Its benefit is a transparency and understandable reported information. We can measure dimensions. Data storage is simple via photo. VT can be applied everywhere, including object with elevated temperature. Potential Users are Weld Workshops and assembly workplaces.

  • Radiography Testing & Film Interpretation

There are many advantages to radiography including: inspection of a wide variety of material types with varying density, ability to inspect assembled components, minimum surface preparation required, sensitivity to changes in thickness corrosion, voids, cracks and material density changes,the ability to detect both surface and subsurface defects and the ability to provide a permanent record of the inspection. Our staff of qualified, certified, professional radiographers operate with in strict safety parameters and produce high quality radiographs that allow us to utilize our interpretation skills honed through many years of experience to determine if an anomaly is actually a defect or can be accepted per code requirements.

Our NDT inspectors are ready to provide you with a perfect NDT inspection performance according to international standards, e.g. ASNT, ASTM, ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, ABS, DNV or ISO specifications as well as your own requirements & procedures. Technical back ground of a regular NDT training centre even increases possibilities and allow to use the most appropriate instrumentation for your application. We can choose the best alternatives, develop and apply an NDT procedure customized to the task. The NDT may be performed in the Hi-Tech laboratories or the inspector equipped with portable devices can do the duty on the site. Hi-Tech may be used as an NDT supplier, for the 3rd party inspections or as an independent Inspector.
